Amazon has recently rolled out a new PPC feature called Product Targeting which allows advertisers to target customers by product. Although it is still in beta, this feature allows targeting of specific ASINs/categories and not just keywords.
Amazon claims that with Product Targeting, advertisers on the platform will be able to precisely control on the way they reach buyers.
